SECURITY PLAN TO PURGE IRAQ FROM TERRORISTS

Mr. Hoshiar Zibari the Iraqi foreign minister said that the timing of the elections is connecting with the security situation . Meanwhile Allawi promised good security leap in Iraq amid information on complete security plan implemented on stages. The 1^st of which represented in chasing foreign armed men and cordon their dens in different parts of Iraq as Baghdad witnessed intensive military movements yesterday.In the meantime, Iyad Allawi said that it is necessary to make the elections in the specified date even if violence hindered some of the population from participation.In an interview with the British journals, Allawi admitted that some cities witnessed worst acts of violence may hinder them from participation in the elections.Sources indicated that the 1^st stage of the plan represented in the air raids on dens of the foreign gunmen in Falluja , adding that those gunmen were forced to change their sites into the city of Tel 'afar at which they soon withdrawn from under the military pressure.Sources also indicated that the foreign gunmen resumed their deployment in the cities of Latifiya and Baqoba . Because of the wide military operation against them in Latifiya , the gunmen were changed their sites into Haifa Street . 

NAVAL CONTROL OPENED IN BASRA

The borders and custom forces in the southern region in cooperation with the directorate of coastal patrols have opened a naval control in the entrance of Shatt al-Arab , to eliminate  smuggling and infiltrations via sea.Brigadier Abdul Settar al- Fadagh the director of the coastal patrol said that the naval control is considered as a margin between what is allowed and forbidden in order to control Shatt al- Arab and exclude infiltrators and face up to the continues smuggling.On the other hand, the borders and customs' police are going on their patrols in the Iraqi-Kuwait and Iraqi –Iranian borders to limit infiltrations via borders. 

NEW PROJECT FOR PRODUCING ELECTRICITY IN BAIJI

The engineering and technical cadres at the ministry of electricity are able to add 50 megawatt of the electricity energy in Baiji electricity station.An official source at the ministry said that the production measured up 510 MW after it was 460 MW in last period thanks to pure Iraqi efforts.The source added that the importance of this achievement lies in maintaining the increase average in the coming year along with increasing the stability of the electricity, referring to the five generating units which are considered as the main stations relied in Iraq for producing the electricity, saying that these five units as a whole produce around 1300 MW as a maximum production capacity. 

PLANNING MINISTRY PUT SOCIAL REFORM STRATEGY                                                                                      Baghdad, as-Sabah, Sept 14, P4 
The Planning Ministry and Development Cooperation has discussed the strategy of social development to create suitable environment for comprehensive humanitarian development. This strategy has been put according to several national priorities backed by an international commitment and supported by related international organizations such as UN and International Bank.Dr. Mehdi al-Hafdhi said that the reform plan includes putting limits for long-term social reform representing in realizing protection and social justice and participation through judicial mechanisms to eradicate poverty, make work chances available and realizing the social incorporation."The ministry's middle-term preparations took into consideration the role of the government through shifting to the market economy without neglecting its role in supplying requirements of security, health, primary education," he confirmed.He indicated the necessity of realizing justice and provides social security represented in personnel's salaries that contribute in redistributing income, families' grants and insurance against the unemployment.Al-Hafdhi indicated to the urgent short-term preparations, top of are social security checks, capital accumulation protecting and improving the political, social and financial structure through incomes increasing  and operation programs. 

CZECH SUPPORST RECONSTRUCTION OF CULTURAL PROJECTS IN IRAQ

The Culture Minister Mofied al-Jazzairi has met recently Check officials. During the meeting, Al-Jazzairi confirmed that the Iraqi government is going on preparing the  1st free and just elections in the country by the end of the next January.An official source at the Culture Ministry quoted a member of the Iraqi delegation who accompanied the culture minister to Prague as saying " during the minister meetings with Czech foreign minister and during his meetings with representatives of foreign affairs committees in Czech senate and deputies councils, the minister confirmed that opponents' plots hatched against the political process to hinder the elections doomed to failure.   Al-Jazzairi reviewed the latest developments in Iraq on both political and security levels, clarifying their reflections on the situation in Iraq, stressing that Iraqi people and its sincere political forces are determined to continue the process to realize democratic and federal Iraq.
