THREE AIR RAIDS ON FALLUJA

$ 50 MILLIONS FOR RECONSTRUCTION IN SAMARAA

The US and Iraqi sources reported controlling the city of Samaraa as the multi national forces launched new offensives on Falluja yesterday .The US forces launched new air raid on a site in Falluja for the 3^rd time respectively during 24 hours .The US army reported destructing a building in Falluja outskirts was thought to be used by the gunmen.The US forces said that the raid was targeted the building and that a series of explosions were heard later on. It seemed the building was full of ammunitions.Interviewed by Al- Arabia satellite channel,  Hazim al- Sha'laan the minister of defense said that fighting has ended in Samara , adding that the Iraqi forces played a main role in the course of fighting and that the US forces contributed in the air cover for the operations of the Iraqi forces.   Notably, around 5,000 troops were flowed into Samara during Friday in one of grandest offensive operations on the city since the occupation on Iraq .Meanwhile, the government sources announced about $ 50 millions allocating for reconstruction in Samara.Spokesman of Basim Salih Barham the deputy premier said that the government concentrated its efforts on the reconstruction drive in the city which was under the control of the gunmen .Meeting with Aiyham al- Samaree the minister of electricity, he said that the government allocated $ 25 millions for the reconstruction of Samara infrastructure after the end of military combat. 

MA'SOUM : ELECTION IS TO BE HELD IN SPECIFIED TIME

Dr. Fuad Ma'soum the chief of the national assembly has denied what is circulated by the media as quoted by the Qatari news agencies on 2^nd October , describing these news as groundless.In a press statement, Ma'soum said that what is circulated by the said news agency are groundless lies , stressing his latest declarations calling for making the elections in the decided time on 31^st Jan in 2005.The statement said that the Iraqi national assembly represented by his chief has full right to sue the Qatari news agency , referring that this behaviors went contrary to the bases and morals of press.Notably, the media was circulated groundless news quoted by the said agency on interviewing Ma'soum.. 

IRAQI COASTAL DEFENSE FORCE INAUGURATED

The Iraqi coastal defense force has been inaugurated in Umm Qasr port southern Iraq.During the celebration, the salutations ceremonies were performed by the important personalities in the beginning of the sailing of the navy.A source at the ministry of defense said that the Iraqi coastal defense force was created in December 2004 . The members of the force received training courses by a joint team consisted of the British royal marine,  Australian, US and Dutch marines.The trainees received training courses in navigation, extinguishing, shooting and steering the ships.Notably, the 1^st Iraqi coastal defense operation started on 1^st October as it shouldered the responsibility of protecting the Iraqi naval sovereignty through a number of patrols in Khor Abdallah and protecting the distant institutions and Umm Qasr port.A number of personalities representing the naval commands at the multi-national force and the Iraqi army were attended the inauguration ceremony. 

JUDICIAL ORDER TO ARREST MITHAAL AL- ALOUSI

The central investigation court has issued an order to arrest Mithaal al- Aloussi the ex-member of the national conference owing to his violation to the Iraqi penalty law No. 111 amended in 1969.Well acquainted source at the central investigation court said that Al- Aloussi committed a crime of contacting a state hostile to Iraq further for his visit to the Zionist entity.As-Sabah has learned that the central court is to sue whoever violating the law under the pretext of normalizing relations or any other crime to secure the independent implementation of the law and maintaining Iraq's Islamic and Arab identity. 

500 HEPATITIS INFECTIONS IN SADR CITY DURING SIX MONTHS

The ministry of health has declared the number of the hepatitis infections in the city of Al- Sadr over the last six months reached to more than 500 infections as the total number of the infections all over Iraq amounted 19824 infections.Dr. Attallah al- Selmani the director of the hepatitis section at the ministry of health said that the infections increased for a number of reasons among which non-availability of examination materials , water contamination and the bad sanitation in addition to the existence of  chemical materials as depleted uranium as well as the foods sold  in the markets  without noticeable control. 

NEW MECHANISM TO DISTRIBUTE OIL ON CITIZENS, FARMERS

The Oil Ministry in coordination with the municipality departments in Baghdad has created committees to supervise the mechanism of distributing oil products coping with the family's ration card.An official source at the ministry said that the distribution mechanism will be done in according to the information fixed on the ration card to calculate the family's share, indicating that each card will be registered through municipality councils distributed in Baghdad and other provinces.The source called citizens to visit the municipality councils to follow up this subject, confirming that the ration of each family for Oct will be according to certain timetable.Notably, the ration of each citizen for this month will be 15 liters kerosene. The ration of two persons will be 25 liters, the ration of the third persons 30 liters, the four persons 35 liters, five persons 40 liters, six persons 45, seven persons 50 liters,  eight persons 55 liters, nine persons 60 liters and the ten person 65 liters in case that family's individuals reach to more than 10 persons. 

MOSCOW READY TO DROP 50% OF IRAQI DEBTS

The Russian Finance Minister Elixy Codrean revealed Russia's preparedness to drop 50% of the Iraqi payable debts, saying that his country is seeking to join the French-German initiative due to drop half Iraqi debts, indicating that the main problem to take such decision is sticking to not specifying the frameworks of this problem and that dropping debts in Paris Club will be done on the base of estimating the long and mid terms estimations of these states concerning paying debts. He indicated that conflict in Iraq is not finished yet a matter that makes it difficult to specify certain horizons to solve this problem, so that Russia is looking for new formulas to solve this problem include backing the French-German initiative."I see myself very close to support this initiative", the Finance Minister said, referring that the Russian government doesn't take its final decision towards this problem.
