Commander of Basra operations has announced the finishing of all military and security steps to receive the security file officially from British
troops tomorrow, as parliamentary and political figures have welcomed this events, describing it as important movement in province's history, and showing the readiness of Iraqi army and police forces to handle this responsibility.Commander of operations said that security forces in Basra have finished all military and security measures and are ready to receive this file officially from British troops, adding that Iraqi forces are carrying out security affairs for a year now without the need of British troops, and showing that 14th division of Iraqi army has stationed in the city last month in addition to 16 thousand police officers and 9 thousand of border forces and navy forces.
