First hours of Mosul's battle "Lion's Roar" against terrorists and outlaws led to arrest 92 wanted at raiding on eight areas in the city

PM Noori Maliki declared yesterday beginning of crucial battle against Qaeda in Iraq and the terrorists in Nineveh province.This offensive would take progressive form and curfew that imposed yesterday wouldn’t be end, but Iraqi forces would allow residents to shop based on facts, senior security official said.This offensive declared yesterday at press conference of Lieutenant General Tawfeeq Riyadh, Nineveh operations commander, as he called the residents to cooperate with the security forces and informing about the terrorists.

This offensive carried out by elite force besides Scorpion and Lion forces from Kut and Hilla, the security official said.
